There is Hope

In a society where many are concerned about their finances, relationships, health, and futures; hope is available. In my counseling work, I assist people as they develop new skills to combat negative thoughts, while stopping self-defeating behavior. These skills promote inner peace, personal freedom, and confidence.

Philosophy and Counseling Approach

I believe that therapy should be short term, if possible. My intention is to assist individuals in appropriately addressing issues that are negatively affecting their lives and/or relationships. The goal is to assist clients in strengthening their current coping mechanisms, and/or to assist them in discovering more appropriate skills if their current skills are no longer effective. I believe people can make positive changes in their thinking and behaving in order to create a realistic yet positive outlook on their lives and futures.
My primary therapeutic approach is a Cognitive / Behavioral Approach; because people’s thoughts and feelings greatly impact their outlook on life; which in turn impacts how they respond to any given situation.
